The guys (Kareem, Ken, and Pat) are joined by guests Kurosh (kujoprime) as they review James Gunn’s unveiling of DCU’s next reboot. Tangents include Ezra Miller secretly being the reverse flash, stinger scenes leading to zombie food, a better Green Lantern pitch, and more.
Show Notes
A review of James Gunn’s DCU Reboot annoucement
The DC Universe movies and TV shows are rebooting — at least in a soft capacity — under new creative lead James Gunn. Largely jettisoning what was done in the past decade with the Snyderverse, these films will start anew with fresh takes on familiar heroes such as Superman and Batman. Unfortunately, this restart seems a bit half-baked, as Gunn confirmed not every part of the DCEU will be erased. This may experience the same failures as DC’s comic book reboots throughout the years.
