Topic 1:  Establish what constitutes an adult cartoon/animation (that isn’t porn)

Adult animation (also known as mature animation) any type of animated motion work that is catered specifically to adult interests, and is mainly targeted and marketed towards adults and adolescents, as opposed to children or all-ages audiences. Works in this medium could be considered adult for any number of reasons, which include the incorporation of explicit or suggestive sexual contentgraphic violenceprofane languagedark humour, or other thematic elements inappropriate for children. Works in this genre may explore philosophical, political, or social issues. Some productions are noted for their complex and/or experimental storytelling and animation techniques. This includes animated filmstelevision series, and web series.

Adult animation is typically defined as animation that skews toward adults.[1][2][3][4] It is also described as something that “formative youths should stay far, far away from”[5] or has adult humor[6][7] and comes in various styles,[8][9][10][11] but especially sitcoms and comedies.[12] Some have stated that it refers to animations with “adult themes and situations,” which uses “explicit language” and make jokes that adults, and occasionally teens, are “more likely to understand” than others.[13] Such animations often run in the evening, but they are not pornographic or dirty, but rather just called adult as they are “overall directed toward an older age group.” These animations can also “appeal to wide swaths of viewers,” including those aged 18–34.[14][15] AdWeek called adult animation “animated projects aimed at grown-ups, not kids.”[16] They also focus on issues that adults handle,[17] and have cheeky, and occasionally crass, humor “that has no limits—bouncing between funny and offensive,” while evoking a “balance of reality and fantasy.”[18] Others stated these animations that something is only a comedy where “the violence is bloody, the dialogue is raunchy, and the intimacy is filthy.”[19]

Super Woke or Super Broke Tangential Giants Podcast

The Giants are back, and this week, Kareem, Ken, and Pat have dragged their long‑suffering friend Tim into the studio for an episode that immediately veers off the rails and never once apologizes for it.First up: Greg Cipes. Yes, that Greg Cipes. The crew dives into the swirling storm of his latest controversy, unpacking the spectacle, the fandom reactions, and the eternal question: why do celebrity statements always feel like they were drafted during a juice cleanse. Then the conversation takes a hard left turn into the Ouroboros of Terminator robots, a philosophical deep dive into what happens when killer machines start time‑looping themselves into existential burnout. Is Skynet okay. Should someone check on it. Does a T‑800 dream of electric therapy bills. And because no episode is complete without roasting a beloved icon, the Giants revisit Superman’s rookie mistakes, the early days when the world’s greatest hero was still figuring out how not to yeet cars into orbit or accidentally demolish small businesses while stopping purse snatchers. If you enjoy pop‑culture chaos, sci‑fi spirals, and four grown adults trying to out‑tangent each other, this episode is your new comfort noise.#tangentialgiants #podcastchaos #GregCipes #popculturedebate #TerminatorLore #SciFiNerds #TimeLoopTalk #SkynetSpirals #SupermanFails #RookieSupes #NerdCulture #geektalkph #comedypodcast #KareemKenPatTim
